In memory of Dayv ****** 1974-2012

At this time there is no memorial service planned. Please, feel free to leave your best memories of our friend and family member.

 

Dayv died early Friday morning of apparent suicide.  Most of us have known of both his health and daily life issues.  Unfortunately before any of us could figure out the signs he was lost to us.  

 

Dayvid specifically requested in his final words on paper that we communicate this tragic event to not just his real world friends but also to his online family and friends.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.

I wish that I could just wish my feelings away...but I can't.  Wishful wishing can only lead to wishes wished for in futile wishfulness, which is not what I wish to wish for.

I don't see why it would be posted in all caps, whether it is true or not.

I'm really, really hoping this is just a terrible, sick joke.  I also wonder about the really odd thread title.

If this is true, best wishes to all of DAYV's family and friends.

Yes, but if it's true, why would a family member or friend post in caps?  And if it's not true, wouldn't he avoid posting in caps to make it look like it wasn't him?

It's not as common, but men can suffer from postpartum depression.

That's just the thing - If it is true, the family member wouldn't use all caps. BUT, Dayv might be fighting the overwhelming urge to use caps to maintain the illusion. The OP was obviously copy-n-pasted from somewhere.

Strange that the person, that started the thread, knows how to change the title.

Actually, I meant the prior history, i.e. the donation thread, could lead one to a stronger belief that this is fake.  The thread title, along with the fact that it was changed, is suspicious as well.

I think more likely than not if this is fake Shaun will pop his head over here again. He's the one who told us in the first place about how the cancer scare might not have been 100% legitimate.

Very sorry to read this.

Condolences to Dayv's family and friends.

The copy and paste may be from posting it at another site Dayv frequented. A family member may be honouring his wishes but feel no compunction to provide us with further details. And that would be be perfectly understandable. If this is indeed true, I would advise those family members or friends to stop reading this thread, at least until you have finished grieving. The messages from well wishers here will be drowned in speculation.

Guys, i am trying to figure out what happened but based off of facebook i think its real. I dont know much but i know dayv tried to kill himself, and that the police were called. i dont know if they got there in time though. hopefully others will know more like jay or sean, i donno who else still posts here from my times.

 

please if anyone has anymore info post here.

 

and dayv if ur still there just let us know. we all care about u, and we are very worried!

Oh my God!  I hope this is a joke.   I was/am very angry at the guy, but I never wanted him to kill himself.   If it true,  I can only think that my  ending my friendship with him, contributed to this.   : (  

Someone please find out whether or not this is true.
