Project: Scrooge (1970) with restored Overture (Released)

Project info: I grew up watching Leslie Leslie Bricusse’s musical version of A Christmas Carol on VHS and the fact that the overture was removed for the DVD and Blu Ray releases has always bothered me. I decided for Christmas this year to create an edit using the overture music from the DVD menu and the painting used for the exit music on the Blu Ray which is identical to the image used for the overture.

Project status: Released

Is it on the LD release? That has a digital track with what I assume is the original mono, would be a better source for the audio if anyone has it.

I would assume so. If anyone does have it I would much prefer it to the remixed 5.1 track I’m currently using.
