All I can do really is try to match the quality and color of the video a little better and add the Subs at the bottom of the screen... when it comes to the ones that are there I mean it will look ok if I add the rest of the subs but for the ones that are half on screen half off there is nothing I can do... so bear with me... this edit is meant to be a tribute to Lee and the closest thing to a reconstruction of his original script as possible... thank you all for the support... life has been so much funner since I found out about fan edits and ish....
Can't you pan the image upwards a little to get the subtitles to fit? Or, maybe zoom it out just a little (leaving small black bars on the sides might put a lot of people off though). Too bad they decided to shoot that footage in 4:3. But I'm wondering... did the storyline footage really have burned in subtitles? I'm going to have to check my R2, because I don't think it does, as it's got subtitles for many languages.

If you could tell me how to pan the video upward or downward that would be cool. My copy of the storyline footage has the subtitles burned into the film, but if you have a copy that does not have the subtitles and you could send it that would be cool. I just want to get rolling with this cause I have other things I want to work on.
it seems you don't use any footage from Bruce Lee in G.O.D., the japanese movie about the making of Game of death. It was shot in widescreen. Can I ask Why ?

I have the Japanese NTSC DVD.
Isn't Bruce Lee In G.O.D. a documentary stylized film about Bruce Lee and not the actual Game of Death movie?

I don't know anymore but I could find out. I don't believe it to be a North American DVD but it is my friends DVD. I could ask him. Is there anything useful in 'Bruce Lee in G.O.D.'?
This was done with the divx file from bruceleedivinewind.com so it'll still have pretty bad video/sound quality but wont be quite the lego looking experience of google video.
if I sent you my copy that I downloaded of The storyline footage and this video doesn't look as good in resolution as mine does, then do you think you could do it to the video I send you?
It is an xvid, I am about to download the copies you have on rapidshare to see which is better. If mine happen to be better, well work out a way that I can send you mine.
I sent a pm a while back... guess you didn't get it. Hopefully we can get in touch and I can send you the other footage and you can do the cropping. After you can send it back and I can finally start finishing this... especially since its finally 2007.. the 35th anniversary of the beginning of the original G.O.D.
I'm VERY excited about all this. I look forward to seeing your work. I thought the project was scrapped when the thread became inactive for a long time. But I was wrong! Seems like you're almost done? Don't worry too much about finalizing and releasing it. You can always get some feedback and make a 2nd version or something. Or you can give it to someone else if you want to move on to other things.
