 Manimal!

The only network Tv hero that makes Jack from 24 look soft on terrorist and crime.

I just read that the same screen-writer sold basically the same story as an episode of MANIMAL

but also to

THE WIZARD

and a decade later, THUNDER IN PARADISE

So that counts as OFFENSES #4, #5, and #6

When you say THE WIZARD, somehow I can't help but think of that 1989 cinematic Nintendo infomercial.

Funnily enough, the actor who played the evil bounty hunter in that movie was actually GL's second choice for the part of Luke Skywalker back in 1975.

“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

This dude? Hmmmm. Let's call that offense #7, even if it has nothing to do with Manimal.

Yep. Will Seltzer. That's him. Of course, he had more hair in 1975.

He was also the replacement for Richard Dreyfuss' absent character in More American Graffiti.

Apprently MANIMAL had a crossover with NIGHTMAN a decade later! Sadly, can't find a clip, but judging from this dude's costume, it must have been awesome!

Nightman.

I heard that thanks to inhaling radioactive night air, he acquired all of the dark powers of...like...nighttime.

The costume he procured from Tim Burton's surplus vinyl bin in the alley behind the Warner Bros. lot.
