Idea: "Eye Candy" demo collection - any interest in this?

I’m wondering if someone could be interested in a project that will gather all the so-called “eye candy” demo clips that could be seen in almost all electronic shops that sell HDTVs…

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, let’s visit this site.

As those are discs not for sale, it’s very hard to find out; my project idea is to take those clips - excluding movie trailers, music video clips, sport clips, leaving only proper demos and adding hi-tech related technical clips - and make theme-based BD discs; for example nature, cities, art etc.

I have them all, plus many others, in particular from satellite - you know, those interesting looped videos that could be seen before a sat channel started their programs, or during the night; plus, nowadays it’s common to find them on USB keys, but it’s really difficult to find out them, more than the demo BDs…

I’m aware that exist one similar collection on AVCHD, but it’s forced to have low bitrate, to be compatible with the standard, while I will use (whenever possible) untouched files.

This is only a thread to gather interest in this project, as if it will see the day of light, will be a HUGE collection, and will be a work-in-progress for a long time - until 4K will be definitely on every home… at that time, the 4K demo will be common and the cycle will start again… (^^,)

So, any ideas, comments, opinions and… files are welcome!

Ehm... I posted the link to the same...

The clips there are limited to 8000kbps, and I will use, whenever possible, original files.

Plus, I want to add sat loop, tech clips & adverts etc.
