There’s probably going to be more and more press about fan edits as December approaches. Should I start a topic to collect it?
Anyway the popular game site Polygon just published a story about the despecialized editions here http://www.polygon.com/2014/8/18/6030725/star-wars-hd-despecialized-edition
These always creep me out. I don’t want Lucas/Disney to try to shut these down.

I was just listening to an interview with Harmy on the Undressing Underground podcast.
In my opinion, the more publicity it gets the better.
There's no way Lucasfilm isn't aware of it by now.
The more attention it gets, and the more people download it, the more incentive LFL/Disney/Fox will have to do an official restoration themselves.
