So did we get this to sync up in the end?
Does anyone have the DTS tracks for Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies specifically what was on the Laserdiscs?
Crossing my fingers that someday the cinema DTS for Star Trek First Contact surfaces.

I will have this soundtrack on my HD by the weekend. I will also have theatrical DTS for the Alien Reissue (Directors Cut) as well.
Anyone know for sure if Aliens & Alien 3 had theatrical DTS?
Anyone able to do Evita?
You know, I have a ton of DTS LaserDiscs, but I don't know how to/what I need to do a perfect audio rip. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I may be able to start doing this. I know specifically Apollo 13 and Independence Day are unbelievable. I don't know how to sync, but I'd share the files with someone who did know.

No need for that ..... but thanks, I think. LOL
Anyways, I got both of the Alien DTS disc sets and I'm going to get them decoded. The next step would be to get them sorted for use in a sync project and I am NOT the expert at doing that. Maybe someone would like to offer assistance on this ..... it would help greatly.

I can say with some certainty they didn't - Alien 3 predates theatrical DTS by a year or so (first major use on Jurassic Park in 1993, as brilliantly preserved earlier in this thread), and though it roughly coincided with the first use of Dolby Digital in 1992 it didn't even use that.
In fact both these films used the standard 80's model for the big-budget blockbuster - Dolby Stereo (SR in the case of Alien 3) for regular prints plus 70mm 6-track for the big boys. Aside from discrete channels, I've never found any evidence that either of these 70mm mixes were substantially different from the surround mixes (unlike, say, Alien and that Star Wars movie).

Was watching Blackadder and it stuck in my head lol
Anyone have the True Lies D-VHS/LD/Cinema DTS track?
I wouldn't mind seeing if anyone has the CD-Rom's to Event Horizon
I saw that at the cinema twice and the sound was so loud and agressive that it shocked me
the DVD / Blu-ray version doesn't have the same impact at all

I think we need a separate thread for all of these other requests folks are looking to fill.
I'll start one, then you all can post there ......
:)
I will see if I can come up with Event Horizon discs ....
During an interview with Gary Rydstrom, he confirms a new audio mix is used for the upcoming 3D version. I could be wrong, but I'm assuming it is the same 7.1 mix used for the last Bluray.

Gary, the destroyer of cinema mixes at home
Well it looks like our project just became even more important. He even admits himself he pushed too much but doesn't care. I guess if he wants to do it, fine. Just include an original mix for us.
Luckily, we have fully preserved that here. Let's hope it will sync with the new disc when it arrives later this month.

He ruined T2 and I will never forget that
Can someone PM me the DTS track for Jurassic please?

The track won't fit in a pm. You'll need an invite to a certain place to download it.
;)
I am having a dull minded day can you pm me the details please?
PM me for assistance.
So is there a list of the discs that are lets say, to hand?
Can Someone please send me an Invite for Myspleen, to download this amazing DTS track?
Thanks
