According to republic intelligence, the seperatists managed to sabotage the efforts to get a good netcode platform for "StarWars: Battlefront", as Lucasarts announced partnership with Gamespy Industries (the guys with the shittiest netcode in the galaxy). Anyone who has played games like "C&C: Generals" or "Aliens vs. Predator 2" knows how terrible netcode can virtually kill off any form of enjoyable internet gameplay.

Let's hope that the guys from Pandemic can do some magic to the GSI netcode and actually get it to perform well enough to be used for the internet. May the force be with them.
