Premiere/Virtual Dub Mod image sequence help

Hi all,

I fancy doing some rotoscoping, I'm very fluent in photoshop so this should'nt be a problem, the problem I'm having is getting the video into an image sequence for editing, from what I can gather I can rip my vobs to my HDD then import into Virtual Dub Mod, convert to an avi and then export as a .flm file again I hit a brick wall as Photoshop can only handly so much and crashes if the file size is too big.

The other option I hav come across which I'm sure your all familier with is to use Virtual Dub Mod and expot as an image sequence, although I have no idea on how to loadthe image sequence back into Virtual Dub Mod.

What are peoples best experiences with using either of these programs to export image files?

Well, the biggest thing to remember is this: NEVER, under ANY circumstances, try to load the entire scene into Photoshop.  Do it shot by shot, or as you've already experienced, it'll be too big a file to handle and Photoshop will crash.

As far as getting a sequence of images into a moving video again using VirtualDubMod, I have no idea.
