George Lucas is getting soft(er) in his old age. I'm telling you, this screening will definately be the SE, but I think we'll have a chance to see the original again somewhere, someday.
It's not optimism...just a hunch.

This is true guys, we have to face it, the OOT will only ever appear on a DVD or HD-DVD edition to please this fanbase and thats it. When it is shown to the public via the theaters, private screening, or cable, it will be the SE. I don't like it, and a matter of fact I truly hate that this has happened to the OT, but as Luke said to Kenobi in SW, "There is nothing I can do about it."

OK, so I went the first day season passes were supposedly available; sold out, simply due to star wars. I'm gonna swing by early tomorrow and find out what the line is for people waiting for others to NOT show up - over 20 my mom says I can't go, but under... I"ll get to take the chance!
I'll let you guys know either way, I hope you don't mind. I'm happy that I may be the only kid my age who may have the slightest chance of seeing the OOT, let alone in theaters!
