Second one for me - but if you include the first, I'd take off the Extended banner up top - or maybe change the font. Just brings the class of the image down in my book

I prefer the second. The first looks a bit too off regarding the proprtions of the small boat to the big one and the reflection in the water.

Other than the reflection and the 'Special Extended Edition' tag, I prefer the first. I really like covers that do something very different from the standard promotional material.

Having said that, the second one IS really nice.

Spence - please stick to DL - its a long movie already - shrinking the extended version down to SL would be a significant quality loss.

AVSFilmCutter - it is freeware and workd with avisynth. Maybe worth to be tried out.

I like design #1 because it's do different than all rest of POTC's marketing materials. And I agree with the "Special..." font change or removal. Maybe something like "Davey Jones' Locker Edition'?

I also like #2 for the simplicity.

Is there going to be a spine title?

I'm hopping on the demonoid torrent so I can watch this before I go see the new one on Friday (even with the ~30 min goof). If anyone is running torrent, a couple more seeds would be most grand.

I had some audio synch issues with the dvd, so its taken me a while to fix those. They're done now, then i'm mailing it off to get some menus, then it'll end up on demonoid.
I'm always looking to trade my edits, if you don't want to get them from a torrent. PM or e-mail!

ok, DVD is up on Demonoid! Enjoy! I've also posted up my edit of The Matrix Sequels entitled The Matrix Squared, if anyone is interested in that.

Is it at all possible for someone that has this to help seed for a bit? There's one seeder left right now, but it's crawling at a snails pace. The rest of the peers might be finished with this by years end at this rate.

Will the dual layer version have DD5.1 or will it still be 2.0?

Btw, saw the first one and have a couple comments/questions.

Has anyone mentioned that the audio is out of sync from around 2:20 on?

Also was some of the footage 30 frames/sec? Is the edit a hybrid of 23.976 with pulldown and 29.97 video?

i just noticed the audio sync problem too. started around 2:21 for me

no, yes and yes. the audio will remain 2.0, there is a sync problem, and it is a mix of the two fps. The deleted scenes were one and the movie was the other.
