Well, yeah of course Grievous is better than Vayden, because Vayden couldn't be bothered to show up in the films, lazy bugger.

But Grievous being better than Vader. Nah, definitely not

I go into a Chinese restaurant or something... then I get all well-ahound cookie, I eaten it, then I open it, and look, there is a message within!!

Are you saying that you don't look at the fortune until you have eaten the cookie?  That's what I do.  I'm superstitious that if I don't eat the cookie first, the fortune won't come true.

I never sed I eaten it all before reading the fortune, there's always some bits left, here and there... things get overlooked. But not forever!

I think he was saying that Grevious was better than Hayden's portrayal of Anakin or Vader.  Hence: Hayder.  Or was it Vayden?

Grievous is sure better than Christensen's portrayal, but I really just meant to spout off a complete bullshit statement with a lame pun tossed in.

Guess I hadn't thought of that! Btw, how can you read my posts?

OOOoooohh!! Ok!! That's what he meant! (Why didn't he say Prequel Trilogy Vader, would've made sense)

Yeah, Grievous is better than PT Vader. By miles

Yeah, but then he said he likes Grievous better than Vader.  Maybe we need to clear this up.

2/4, are you saying you like Grievous better than OT Vader?  Better than ANH or ESB Vader?

So why the incredulity in your voice? Do you somehow thing this opinion of mine is outrageous and dumb?

The idea that Grievous is a better character than Vader is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard on this site.  It's an opinion that isn't wrong (no such thing) but it's an opinion that is insane.

However, you said "better," not "better character," so I now wait for you to educated me on your definition of "better."

Um, I can think you are insane for having an certain opinion.  But your opinion is not wrong.

Why do I keep forgetting how pointless it is to discuss things with you?

mm hmm, yeah.

And judging by the beginning of the thread I'd say that because Vader had a bigger impact on 'TheBoost' students than Grievous, Vader is the Better...thingy. And BTW how do you know Frink had incredulity in his voice? You do realise you're reading text on a screen?? Not a voice?

Well right now I'm damn sure it is, because you're basically being had in the most obvious way and aren't even realizing it.

Do you even realize what you're saying? An insane person, is usually what we call someone who suffers from delusions and hallucinations, or holds highly distorted views of themselves and their environment. In the broadest sense, it can mean someone who's abandoned all rational thought and is hopelessly caught in dogmatic, circular way of thinking.

To be insane, MEANS to be WRONG; VERY, wrong.

On the other hand, normal everyday people, incl. the inteligent ones, can be "wrong" about something all the time. It's a normal occurrence. And if the subject is an "opinion" about something, based on flawed judgment and observation, then guess what, THE OPINION IS WRONG.

Wanna play this game? Alright, you asked me whether I meant "character" or not, right? Well, let's just go with "character", for the heck of it.

I'd really like see you dance yourself a way out of that one. So saying that Grievous had a better characterization than Vader somehow isn't "wrong"? Because an opinion can't be wrong, right... but it can be INSANE!

Just for the record, finding Jar Jar Binks funny isn't called "insane", it's called "having an unusual taste". Before you get confused with terms and all...

Vader being more known among students doesn't lead to ANY such conclusions.

If you seriously apply the,.. appeal to popularity to anything concerning art or entertainment, you clearly need to grow up a lot.

Take a look at Angus MacFadyen's performance in the piece of shit "Warriors of Virtue" - that guy trumps Grievous in the "campy over-the-top villain" territory by like 10 times, Grievous'a  complete bore compared to him, so how come "Komodo from Warriors of Virtue" probably isn't anywhere as well known as Grievous?

I apparently was off the mark last time I tried to help... but here I go again.

2/4 said Quigonn sucks.  Alex and Frink said, "that's your opinion".  2/4 said "then you have dumb opinions".  Then Alex and Frink said "Don't call our opinions dumb."  Then 2/4 said, "Greivious is better than Vader."  Then Frink and greenpenguino and everybody either thought or said, "2/4, your opinion of Grevious/Vader is dumb."  And then 2/4 of said:

QED.

If not, then I do give up.  But I give anyone who says "super-duperlative" some points.

And 2/4- I stopped ignoring all of the Inception ignorers for Valentines.  You must have missed my announcement and assumed I still had you on ignore?

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

I'm sorry, I'm pretty sure twooffour was typing things, but considering how insane they made him sound, I stopped reading after a bit.

...

Although I like the tone of the OP, I think all it really shows is that Grievous is not a cultural icon the way Vader is.
