There is no BD release of True Lies in the near future.

Not even a release date.

While the Dtheatre release isn't as detailed as the HBO version, it does have the entire film, while the HBO has blackouts (Probably due to satellite problems in the recording), so the DVHS is the best there is right now and in the foreseeable future.

Also, if a BD should be released, it would probably suffer the same fate as Aliens, and won't have the original DTS mix. So I would say that one of the best action/comedy flicks of the 90's deserves the team's attention.

There are some minor dropouts throughout, but there are 2 nasty ones that caught my attention.

The opening credits are missing almost everything, and the scene before the bridge scene has a nasty disruption that ends it abruptly.

Unless there is a better capture, I wouldn't use it.

If there is, then after matting it, it can work.

I doesn't matter anyways because we do not have this HBO version and I believe our video is already done.

I do not believe my HBO recording has any issues. I recorded it myself long ago. It's in storage so I'd have to check to be certain.

Added 1 more WIP to post #2, this is probably it for a while, we need to start finalizing some of these lol, all I can say is that if all goes well we should be able to pump 6 projects out very soon, and yes Star Wars 77 and A New Hope 97 SE are 2 of them.

Pumpkinhead made me think of something else.  Is there an HD version of Rawhead Rex available anywhere?

Like I said, for us to even consider a request, which by the way there are some real good ones here, we need to know where these files can be retrieved lol, ideally it would be nice if you have them already and can upload them for us or at least tell me where I can find them.

I will search out my request but methinks mine will be a difficult one .... they aren't really A-list flicks but they ARE cool as hell.

Do we have any Japanese members here? or can any of you following\reading this thread translate Japanese to English? we need chapter info for a project and all I have for a source is a Japanese DVD, would really love to get this translated so we can get our chapters done for this baby.

So many good projects planned!  JGTH Uncut, ROTLD 2 &3, Tales From The Crypt Double Feature, and Pumpkin head Double Feature!  Sooooo many good projects that I hope to eventually acquire all of.  Scream Factory watch out, Team Blu is certainly going to (unofficially) give you something to worry about!

I'm not finding that one anywhere.  Any hints you can offer on how it's labeled and/or which group it might be in?  All I see is a 1080i AVCHD of RotLD 3 that's ~8 gigs.

Has anyone ever created an Ultimate THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY? From what I understand one of the foreign releases is not grain-raped (unlike the craptola U.S. release). Obviously laserdisc PCM audio added in would be great, though audio for the extended scenes would have to be spliced in from the remixed track. 

Another movie that might be nice to see in HD is Screamers.
