We do not do just Horror.

Well I am trying here guys to get these out for all and faster but we just do not get any support at all, I just cannot pay for everything myself anymore(Family related expenses for my Son the past 6 months and it is still ongoing) but a special thanks to those very few that do support us, we really appreciate it very much so, you guys know who you are and you guys rock! 1 helps us with audio work and 1 supports us in materials and the other supports us with materials and hardware!

So all I can do is try.

If I was not out of work I would throw money at you for the terminator work you did, but never think your work is not appreciated

I never said anything about appreciated, we need help, I need help, help me help you guys is what I need, I think about this all the time on how to share but come up empty, I am thinking a seedbox would be ideal, I could up to that and then post on a tracker/s and let it seed the fucking hell out of it for ALL at once, hell we have 2 releases ready right now and a 2-Disc set coming very soon, so I need help to get these out to share.

I know our projects are for the most part appreciated, but with the serious lack of comments(not just here mind you) it is really disheartening, but the very few we do get are a HUGE pleasure to read, now I know some of this is because of the lack of sharing, which is what I am now trying to remedy, so I guess we will just have to wait it out and see what happens, a couple Terminator 1 & 2 reviews should be coming in soon I hope.

I think the poll is asking about movies in general, not just horror.

I want to help with the seedbox, but I'm not sure I could pay the bill month after month... What if I donated a seedbox for 3 months in order to get the new torrents seeded, and then the people who snatch those torrents could handle the long-term seeding from there?

Maybe finding out what kind of internet connection people here have who are looking to snag these gems would be a wise way to postulate a plan of action.

If you are spending money to source materials and make extras for people that donate you're either coming up even of falling short due to the costs.  Maybe we can put our heads together and figure out a way to better balance the process so that it makes it easier on both sides.

I realize there are hit n runners at the spleen but it looks like they are getting ready to implement some things to keep people with low seeding ratio at the bottom end of the barrel until they correct said behavior.  That is definitely good.

I don't make a lot but I'd be willing to donate something to the cause.  I've donated to some of the archival print work going on elsewhere so it's not like my fingers aren't in any pies round these parts.  LOL

Honest and rational conversations about the exact support requirements you need filled needs to happen for this to work well.

This is just my opinion.

Thanks for all TeamBlu has done so far.  Here's to more.  :)

If someone wants to go half with me on a monthly seedbox bill to donate to Team Blu, I'd be willing to pay half the cost of the box every month for the foreseeable future.

Whatbox seems to have the most storage space for the least amount of money. And what's more, they don't shut off the box if you reach your monthly upload limit. They only limit you to 5mbps/sec for the remainder of the month, so if that happened, then the torrents would still be seeding without interruption.

I think 1.35TB storage space would be enough to host all of Team Blu's releases so far, with enough room to spare for future releases.

So it seems like only the early NTSC DVD was released un-edited.

now I too look like a fool. It appears I was also mistaken and my copy of The Devil's Advocate is edited. I could have sworn it was not, but it most definitely is. Funny how the mind remembers what it wants to.

DJ - I note there are a number of unedited versions for sale on Ebay. If you really need one, I am most happy to buy one for you. Your team's work is outstanding on the number of releases I have managed to acquire, and I feel I deserve to pay you back somehow.

LDDB mentions the soundtrack is uncut on the LD I was not aware of any changes

The unedited "Devil's Advocary" NTSC DVD was (or is) up at spleen, as far as I know.

Also, I never read on an unedited PAL Version on DVD. Seems as iv Warner pulled the plug just after the NTSC rental release, before it was even released to the PAL world.

there seem only to be old VHS PAL releases with the unedited Version, and MAYBE LD release.

This all sounds very interesting but I think 3 months may not be enough time to get all out plus what is on the way, also I would need to know how to set it up and upload to it and share, this all will be new to me.

I don't particularly want to spend $12.50 each month on an ongoing basis, however I wouldn't have a problem chipping in a smaller amount each month, or paying a larger amount once or twice a year.  (Like one months service (around $25).  I think a pay to play format is more than acceptable for guaranteed access.  I think if everyone that wanted access to these fine releases chipped in $5-$10 once, there'd be more than enough interest to fund the seed box for several months.  Hell if just 10 people chipped in at $10 that'd fund the box for 4 months.  At this point I'm not even sure if there's that many releases I really am after outside of Maximum Overdrive, but the potential access to future releases (Especially if an Uncut Jason goes to hell is ever finished) is more than worth the upfront cost.  If someone set's it up and get's things running, I'm happy to pitch in my share.

I got to thinking about it, and even if some of us did split up the cost of a monthly seedbox, that would mean using paypal to collect funds, which would cost even more money because of the paypal fees.

I have an idea that wouldn't involve collecting funds from anyone, and I could afford to do this on my own: It would be possible for me to permanently host all of Team Blu's releases on my own personal seedbox. I have more than enough space on my box to do this, and I can handle the monthly bill by myself.

If dark_jedi or someone else from Team Blu could upload each release to MEGA or another file locker site just for long enough for me to grab the files, I could then upload them to my seedbox and store them there permanently. Then, once the torrent is uploaded, I could begin seeding from my box.

I already have the files for Conan extended bonus disk, and NOTLD'90, so those 2 releases won't need uploaded. The rest of them could be uploaded to MEGA one-at-a-time, and after I grab each one, they can be deleted from MEGA to make room for the next one.

The uploading to MEGA step could be skipped by sending BD-R's through the mail, but either way is fine by me.

As long as I keep these files seeded from my seedbox, the torrents will never be without at least one fast seeder.

Will that work?

Why not just have them SCP or SFTP the file(s) directly to your seedbox?

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

Thanks for the suggestions but I will try and figure something out, I want to control the initial seeding and sharing, so I am not to keen on that idea, but thanks again and I will try and figure out what to do, needless to say nothing will be available at least until into the new year now.

Thanks again

*edit, I mean no offense by this but I do not want to give all our releases to someone else to control, the Team should control the initial sharing so we can read comments and see how it all goes and if by chance there is an issue we can stop the sharing fast and correct, so I will not do this idea, sorry.

No problem, I understand.

I have another idea:

If someone from Team Blu uploads each torrent and controls the initial seeding from their home connection, I could download each of those torrents to my seedbox and leave them seeding there for 6 months.

So, each Team Blu torrent would be guaranteed to have a fast seed for at least 6 months after being uploaded. (Probably longer since some of the snatchers will stick around to seed too.)

The initial seeder wouldn't even need to be connectable because my seedbox is connectable, and many others in the swarm will be connectable, so the files will still get distributed to the seedboxes.

So, if I make a commitment to keep each Team Blu torrent seeded for 6 months after it is uploaded, would that be an agreeable plan?

I will figure out what to do early next year, but it is looking like I will have to just stick with the damn newsgroups.

Might I suggest blu-torrents.net? Some of your releases are already there, registrations are currently open, and the trackers torrents are usually large so your BD25's will fit right in. Oh and of course some have already been uploaded there anyway, so you may as well control it.

I haven't actually used the tracker yet but it seems like a decent one.

Ok so I am going to test my connection and see if this is the way to go, I have Nurse 2D Uncensored up at Blu-Torrents, so I will see how this goes and if I can connect to you guys then more will come.

Nurse 2D Uncensored

So hopefully there is some interest here in this pretty damn cool flick so I can see if I can share myself or not, or if torrents is for me or not, so go grab and please comment.
