Idea: Oscar Ceremony Preservations...

Remember when I put up a topic for the preservation of Academy Awards ceremonies? Well what about if the ceremonies were given a similar treatment as the Doctor Who Recreations? People could put the tapes with Oscar ceremonies up, and they could have them copied around the world, for the different regions so that people can easily get them for free, provided they provide the necessary tapes to record them on. It could be a good idea.

I would love to see old ceremonies from the 70's and 80's.

That's the spot! If there were more people like the above, we could be seeing old Oscar ceremonies from the past yet!

Last year I found a guy on ebay who have every show taped form the last 30 years. I tried to arange some trades then he dropped off the face of the earth.

I'd be interested too, but how many people have these to make available? I have a few VHS recordings, but not much.
