The Original Cuts have been on DVD for along time now (check EBay), transfered frrom the Definitive LAserdiscs they include audio commentary as well and look great I have a set .

Ask around. Look in one of the other sections, it's all about fan-created DVDs and stuff.

I do, Rik does, TR-47 does. Probably more people too. There are more upcoming sets you can see developing here:

But it isn't clear if any of them will be that much better than TR-47's set. Which set do you have? TR-47's set doesn't have menus. Gonzo's set is anamorphic and has menus, but only DD 2.0 sound + the commentary (TR-47's has a PCM of the prologic track). Welcome, and enjoy your stay. And don't pay ebay prices.

I made my won set and I'm very happy with the video and sound. The sound is Dolby 2.0 my set has the Closed Caption subtitles.

Actually the sound is closer to mono since you didn't preserve the prologic track. But keep trying.
