Info Wanted: Original Trilogy VHS box set - HELP

To the point, I have the original trilogy in a boxed set and I think it may be from the first time the OT was released in a set (if that maoes sense) The individual films are copyrighted 1977, but im not to good with my history šŸ˜’

There is something wrong with the box, the list of films is in the wrong order, it goes STARWARS, THE RETURN OF THE JEDI, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and also the sleeve for the empire video doesnt match the other two, but im guessing somewhere along the history of these tapes the original sleeve was damaged and someone replaced it with this one which is from a ā€˜CBS FOX ALL TIME GREATSā€™ collection.

Anyway if anyone wants to take a look at these images and tell me their thoughts on how old this is, feel free.

I made a quick msn group and stuck the images in there, apologies for the quality, they were taken on the worlds worst digi camera lol.

The Empire Strikes Back looks like the 1988 fullscreen issue of the films and the Star Wars and Return of the Jedi looks like the 1989 fullscreen issue of the films

Hmm I diddnt mean for the images to be that big either :-s

The actual tape itself for empire is the same as the other two, which is all that matters at the end of the day, I have sort of an OCD though hehe I like things to be 'proper'.

My search for the ultimate starwars collection continues, if only I had more money to spend on things like this...

Interesting to note that the box set misnames Return of the Jedi, giving an extra 'The' at the start.

Allthough the cover is different the tapes are all the same (1989 edition) but now im annoyed because the covers aint right lol, i think i may be obbsessed, anyway, back to ebay...
