Opinions wanted (VO Demo Reel)...

So I'm an actor working in NYC and I've just cut my first voiceover demo for character/impersonations. I'm going to be revising it and I wanted to know what people thought of it. If you had any experience in this field, all the better. I'm going to be submitting this to agents and managers with the hope that I'll be signed.

I'm currently working on my legit demo with my regular speaking voice as well.

That's some pretty solid work! The only voices that didn't really work for me were Bobby and Gizmo. But you've a spot on Miss Piggy and a great range!

Great stuff. I've read up on voice acting, and apparently most want to hear a demo reel of new voices. I'm not saying you wont make it on impressions, but a lot of voice actors will get several short segments of scripts with very different characters and make a demo like that. There's like a community for just gathering stuff to make demos on the internet.

With that being said, if you plan on giving the SoundCloud hyperlink out to agents I'd fix the wording in the description a bit. It's currently: "This reel concentrates solely on a mix of my original characters and impressions."

It would be better as "In this reel I concentrate solely on a mix of my original characters and impressions." because the reel isn't doing the concentration… you are!

This is just a minor nitpick, but I love the work you've done here at originaltrilogy.com, so I want to help in any way I can.
