OT's "End of the World" Countdown!

Well, the world is supposedly ending on 21 December 2012 at 11:11 UTC.

I don't think it will, but let's start counting down, pat man style, baby.

I remember back in 1999 some people actually thought the world was gonna end, among other things. Some Nostradamus bullcrap. Anyway, I'll never forget one thing: one of my classmates, a girl (don't remember if she was blonde) was quoted as saying to her friend "If the world ends, give me a ring!"

I'm prayed up and ready to go (or stay)!

The thing I remember the most was all the talk about that "all computers will stop working" and that this would cause a total economical collapse. This caused the shops to advertise new computers as "year 2000-proof".

Personally I think if the world will end in our time, it will be caused by war and not by some ancient calendar.

I have a question.

Being that the world is ending in less then a day, and I have one 19.9 FL OZ bottle of spring water, A packet of Ramen (chicken flavor) soup, some crackers, and a tin of Sardines, Would I be considered one of them dooms day preppers?  Just asking, because I don't want to spend the last few seconds of existence in some government detention center you know.
