Star Wars sucks dude. Good thing I'm not associated with it in any way. Besides, you know,  the fact that I signed the petition, and that I post frequently on a Star Wars forum. ;-)

Taking a time out again for a while.  Failed my second test, though it was close.  I love it here, and I'll post periodically, but I will be reducing my posts dramatically for a while.  But don't cry.  I'm always around ;)

Had a relapse, but an intervention spared any further pain.  Recommitting as of now :)

Alright, I obviously can't stay away.  Let me take it a few steps at a time.  I will not post for the rest of today or at all tomorrow.  And thanks for those who keep pointing out my shortcomings in my promises in this thread.  I really do appreciate it :)

This is just getting worse.  I really have wasted so much time here today and other days.  I think my Internet addiction is affecting my work and school and family life.  It pains me to see what I'm doing.  I know I'm usually sarcastic and silly, but I'm writing this in all seriousness.  I cannot write here anymore.  I don't mean ever, because a while back I had things better under control.  But I have wasted so much time, it makes me sick to think about it.

Here's my commitment.  Starting now, I will not post anything for one month.  That way I will be less inclined to check for replies.  I will not post elsewhere either, such as at the Jedi Council Forums.  Too much wasted time.

I have some correspondence going on.  I will continue to reply to PMs, at least for now.  But I will try to stay away for a while, and when I come back, I will set a new goal.  Thanks for hearing me out and for helping to hold me accountable, just by being here and reading this thread.  A public commitment is more likely to be followed through on.

So I'm having fun being back.  But before it gets to be too much fun, I think I will again set some limits, but not as drastic as before.  For one month I will only respond to PMs and a few threads: Interrogate the Mormon; Deleted, Alternate, and Alternate project; Star Wars OT Audio Book project.  I also have a small suggestion for ESB that I will put up shortly, but that will be a one time thing.  Other than this, I intend to go into hiding for a bit.  Thanks again for everyone who has been supportive, even if you made no comment on the matter.  I appreciate your thoughts :)

Didn't adhere very well to that last one.  Took my final today and did well, but not quite well enough to pass the course.  I've had some very bad exams this semester that are weighing me down, and now I am extremely close to the pass/fail line.  Fortunately the class does offer a remediation exam which I will take in the near future.  But for now I've got to take a break to try to pass nursing.
