Nostalgia Critic's review of the Star Wars Holiday Special

I can't believe it. It has finally been done. At last the world truly knows......the horror

Poor guy.

I was gonna sit through the whole thing this year, but most of my friends bailed so I just watched this. No wonder I haven't finished it. He's right, though - why isn't the whole special about Ackmena's cantina? That would have been much more interesting.

Doug (the critic) is always hilarious. The part with the Wookiee xmas carols had me on the floor with tears! You just gotta love this guy, if anyone here hasn't already, check out all of his other videos on his site. There's tons of different stuff from other people, too. No, they ain't paying me for this advertisement.

Watched the Special with my wife a few weeks ago.  Thankfully we had the RiffTrax to help us get through it.

Doug's review is great, love all of them.

I was just going to post about this but somebody beat me to it. If only Nostalgia Critic could do a review of the differences between the original, 1997 and 2004 versions of the films. And yell about the color screwups. "A Neon Green Yoda???!!!!" "Blue, let's make fun of blue everyone."* I can only dream.

Doug Walker was at Youmacon this past 2009 and he actually was a guest for the Mystery Science Theatre 4,000 panel. They riffed Masters of the Universe live. It was really cool to see him. After the MST4K, he signed my Youmacon booklet (which I have been unable to find recently):
