I’ll be doing a Night of the Creeps HD2DVD since the current dvd available is only a crappy vhs fullscreen rip.
I’ll be using the widescreen hd files to author a widescreen dvd.
More info to follow later.

P.S. If anybody is good at creating covers please feel free to create any design.

Nope, this is still tied up in rights issues. You're thinking Synapse because that information came from Don May, head of Synapse, who don't own the rights to the film (but would like to!). This is a Sony title now IIRC.

What's the point? Dark_Jedi is done his and just waiting on QC before releasing.

Also, I would strongly recommend re-naming your HD2DVD projects, because he came up with the name, and it's not cool to copy him.

I didn't see any other post about somebody else doing Night of the Creeps.
I have the very most upright respect for Dark_Jedi. I didn't try to copy or clone or take his "hd2dvd" title.
I just used that because everybody else on this forum is used to seeing that phrase or title.
I guess I can totally scrap doing this since it is already in the works.

As an extra, you should include the alternate ending. If you don't have this I do.

I don't have the alternate ending in even vhs quality. I have some 14mb avi file of the alternate ending. What is the quality of the alternate ending that you have?

As far as I know, all copies circulating of the alternate ending are pretty poor quality - a combination of being sourced from an old VCR taping of a cable airing, and most bootleg DVDs featuring it having both versions of the films squished into one DVD-R.

And a little request to TheCassidy: if it's you coming up with the cover art to this, any chance you'll be using this poster art as the front cover?

All the eBay bootleg DVDs use the "zombie at the window" art, and it would be nice to set this apart from them in terms of look.

Regrettably that is the only hi-res poster available that I could source, and I only use the highest res I can find.

This is an early preview, hope you guys like it - just wait till you see what DJ has in store.

That's looking pretty nice TheCassidy, even in its unfinished form. Any chance of sharing the high-res poster? I wouldn't mind using it to make a cover of my own.

Speaking of sharing - I had a go at upgrading the trailer from the link I posted above. I've turned it into a 33.33MB VOB file ready to be burned to DVD. Obviously the quality isn't amazing, given the source, but it's a hell of a lot better than the (Video Detective) alternative and some people here might want to put it on their DVD.

I believe I still have some high-res artwork for Creeps on a disk somewhere. I do have a few covers that I made for it a few years ago for the boot version. Will post when i find them.

ok I found them and will first post previews. If anybody wants them I will try to post the full res ones.
The first two were created by someone else back in '03. Soryy but I dont know their name. The third cover is the one that I made.

here is a couple of covers I have for the movie I can't remember where I got them but they are fairly good quality
