BTW, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD SAFARI FOR pc.

I don't like Safari on Mac, I really don't think I'm going to like it for PC.

I am a Firefox believer, mostly because all the luxuries my plug-ins provide.

Who said anything about using IE? I use FireFox on both the PC and the Mac. You do know that FireFox exists for both, right?

But is the Mighty Mouse the one I would want? By that I mean is it the best?

You can use just about any mouse on a Mac. It doesn't have to be made by Apple. I use a logitech MX518 "gaming" mouse and G11 "gaming" keyboard on my Mac Pro. Technically, neither of them are supposed to work because Logitech doesn't make OSX drivers for them, but they work just fine without installing anything.

Like I said, try out the mighty mouse at the Mac score, but if you find that the more ergonomic mice made by say Microsoft or Logitech to be better then get one of those.

I remember how cool it was when the iMac came out. It had all these colors which all we had up until the were computers that looked so box like. Our elementary school got them around 5th grade. I also thought it was cool how the mouse plugged in to the keyboard for right and left handers. Is it weird to have nostalgia to computers I only used once or twice?

What was the educational game for the Mac where you had to click the countries which names came up? What about the one where you had to make the bridge? I would like to see the iMac have a colored shell like the old ones.

Well until I go to the Apple Store (don't know about tomorrow we are supposed to have heavy snow) I'm stuck using this Dell Inspiron 1000 (I swear it weighs a ton.)

Haha. An Inspiron 1000? Damn man, that must be old. The last Inspiron I had was an 8100 from 2000. Maybe their model numbers went backwards, but that thing must be pretty old. It probably weighs between 5 and 7 lbs, which is a ton by todays standards. Of course, if you want a cheap laptop, they still usually weigh about 5 lbs. The lighter you go, the more expensive they get.

Yeah my brother got it when he went to college in 2004 and gave it to me when I started college this year and I just put on a wireless card and I don't want to buy a new battery so I plug it into the wall.
I want the Macbook $1,299 version with:
* 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* 1GB memory
* 160GB hard drive1
* Double-layer SuperDrive
* I'm getting a Mighty Mouse
* A hard shell (I've heard things about the Speck one scratching up the glossy top on the Macbook)
Possibly a new bag that will hold alot stuff and protect it. I have a leather bag my Uncle (a business man) just gave me but I don't know if it will protect my stuff and I don't think it is good to carry around a leather bag. I seen a good $100 one that would have everything I need and it can function as a backpack and a messenger bag. I'm hoping to keep it below $1500.
The bag I want
I get a $100 student discount and I have $800 right now and I'm going to put the rest on a credit card and I'll get 90 days same as cash. I hope I just don't get laid off.
Besides the Macbook has excellent reviews, I've heard great things about Leopard, I really don't want to buy anything with Vista on it or pay to downgrade to XP, and I've always wanted a Mac.
Yeah I'm in sociology class right now.

v=So i got a Black Macbook because Best Buy gave me 6 months no interest and I can build up a little credit. I have my wireless Might Mouse, my Macbook and my Speck Shell. I'm really liking it and proud to have my first Mac and with my next computer I plan to get rid of Microsoft computers for good.

But the trip was really miserable no one slept the night before. It was my Dads fault he was really drunk and want to wrestle and stuff and was really loud and he showed me a video on youtube of my cousin rolling up a joint. And we couldn't get credit at the Apple Store so we went to Best Buy and got credit there and I have my Macbook.

I'm going to have to get used to some stuff like no right-click, the keyboard is a little bit different but that is really it.

I have like 60 pictures I took mind if I post them?

Just go into the Keyboard and Mouse pane in System Preferences and enter what you want the right side of the mighty mouse to do. By default, the left and right side of the mighty mouse are set to primary click, due to the Mac historically being a one button mouse system. The mighty mouse will do whatever you want it to. You just have to set it up. Pretty much any mouse will work automatically on OS X. I've used a 5 button Microsoft mouse for years without any problems...

You can go about your business. Move along, move along.
