"Parents often have anxiety about "the Talk."

But one viral video, which has had nearly half a million views since November of last year, aims to help dads out with that very important discussion with their children.

I'm referring, of course, to the first time parents introduce their kids to "Star Wars."

I love the comments section for this story.

I shut it off about a half way though as soon as they started into the whole no special editions and no prequels as long as you live under my roof garbage.  For God's sakes, why intentionally turn them into angry Star Wars fans from the moment they pop in the first film.

And do not show your kids Star Wars as early as possible because if I had a choice in the matter, I would have seen to it that I didn't see any of the movies until I was old enough to remember it.  I can't remember the first time I saw the movies because it was further back than I can remember and I hate that.

I also think it's funny that the book that guys little kid is looking through is the complete visual dictionary that contains info on all the prequels.

"George, we hate you for making more Star Wars movies.  Please make more Star Wars movies."

It was only satire, but I felt they did a good job.

I remember there was a very similar video some time ago that was actually satire - is this the serious version now? Great Poe! :D

Thank the silent God that I'm an antinatalist. This is one more child-rearing issue I will not have to deal with.

Oy, i tell you, i love star wars, the OT is better, Jar Jar is annoying, but i'm not such a die hard fan that i'd say, "No! The SE's are not allowed in this house!" or "The PT is forbidden". I'm sry, but people would look at you and think you're very...oh, whats the word? I dunno, some word that makes you sound weird. I guess Weird works.

One thing i do agree, i think you should start with A Hew Hope first so that the revelation that Vader is Luke's father is that more climatic when you first watch it.
