It's about time this trailer came out.

The best thing this film has going for it so far is Edward Norton. I'm not too happy with the CGI shown so far. The story looks cut and dry. Did we need a new Hulk film so soon after the last one?

Now if "Iron Man" sucks, this Hulk film will not do well at all. But I still think "Iron Man" will blow this film's box office gross away. I still think the last Hulk film will hurt this as well. A lot of people did not like it at all.

And, the U.S. government and the Army as the Bad guy? Oh my! There goes that "liberal Hollywood" again. lol

Usually a trailer looks better or at least as good as the film itself. In this case, I'd say the film is lackluster at best. Not too impressed.

I don't see this as going over too well. I think you'll have too much baggage from the last Hulk movie, and most people will think that this is a sequel or related to it, and it isn't remembered too fondly. If they were going to do another Hulk movie, they should of waited longer, for people to forget the last one. Even if Iron Man is a huge success, I don't think it will help this film.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it. Just don't expect much from it: its King Kong Versus Godzilla, basically. In comic book tradition the characters aren't exactly deep, but theres something done with them, and the cast is great. The trailer should have showed more of the emotional content of the film, because there's some really good Fay Wray-King Kong elements to the title character, but I guess Marvel is really pushing the action orientation of the picture.

Hulk Vs. Rhino would been nice. And a hint that Capt. America was on the way.

But I'll go see it.

Doesn't look too bad. At least the Hulk looks a bit better than in the first film graphics wise.

I think it looks pretty good. This one should be a hundred times easier for one of the editors to fix than the last one!

heh, There goes reave, already planning ahead ;)

I think it looks crap but still more interesting than the last one. The Hulk as a character really doesn't interest me, If it's just going to be a smash fest then I wont bother. I do hope they are aiming at something more with it, though.

The trailer looks like a mundane action-romp with a very simple story and not-very-deep characters. The fights, CGI, and all that goes with it looks average at best.

They messed up on The Abomination. He looks SO bad!

I'm predicting it to be one of those average summer movies with average everything. After you come out of the theatre, you'll forget all about it. That's just my prediction based on the trailer and the person directing (Transporter 2? Eewww!).

the cgi on the new hulk looks even faker and worse than what ilm did on the last film.

no non-hulk fan would be able to identify him as the abomination of the comics.

Dude, actually no one would.

okay, I'm seeing Robert Downy jr listed in the cast for this film as Tony Stark. Maybe it'll be a tad more interesting than I initially thought.

If true it's probably nothing more than a walk on. Anybody heard any details on this?

Do huh? Iron Man is in the Hulk movie? Why isn't this all over the nerd-news? Unless it's just an imdb flub.

Edit: Well, there it is:
"Louis Leterrier had been interested in directing Iron Man (2008), but when Jon Favreau took that project Avi Arad offered him a sequel to Hulk (2003). In an attempt to depict their comic book films in the same universe, Marvel Studios gave 'Jr Robert Downey' a cameo as Tony Stark in this film."

This makes me want to puke green:
"The Incredible Hulk joined Toronto's Green-Screen initiative, to help cut carbon emissions and waste created during filming. Edward Norton had fun using a hybrid vehicle on set. Producer Gale Anne Hurd hopes the film will be a symbol of the drive to encourage less pollution from film productions."

There better not be any hippy-dippy save mother earth bullshit in this movie. Is anyone else sick of hollywood falling all over itself, to be more "green" than anyone else? Pat yourself on the back as you're flying your personal jets to NY for a weekend of shopping, f*#kers!

Lets be thankful they drive hybrids and then fly personal jets, instead of driving Hummers and then fly personal jets.

Well, aside from the fact that I'd rather be thankful for things that actually matter, the difference between going on a shortly-timed trip in a Hummer and a Jet is so huge that you really shouldn't waste your time worrying about the Hummer right now.

As pathetic as it sounds, I actually am glad they are trying in whatever small practically insignificant way they are, because I expect absolutely nothing from them. But of course it gets beefed so far up in PR--"look at us! We're going green!" Yeah, sure. But hey, I can roll my eyes and thats one less gas guzzeller being used.

I'm gonna skip this one and read the novel. I don't want to be distracted by the effects so I can focus on the intricate plot details and the heart-wrenching love story.

Let's be thankful when they drive hybrids and then use commercial airlines for transportation instead of personal jets. Until then, it's nothing more than pandering.

And of course there's going to be some kind of "go green!" message in the movie. Whether it's a closeup of a hybrid car or some actual lines in the script or both. Being green is the popular thing to do so of course they're going to do it.

it's too bad skinny hulk won't make it into the movie.

what? Skinny Hulk? The hulk in the trailer was pretty lean.

so is that NOT the actual hulk that's going to be in the movie?

I'm confused.
