Lucasfilm's future Star Wars projects

I seem to remember reading articles way back when that said they planned on doing some 3-D version of the movies and a CG TV show and, and...I dunno. (that TV show was probably the recent cartoon series) Does anyone know the current state for future releases? Anything worth being interested in? :p

The 3d release is sort of on hold because they didn't realise how time-consuming and expensive it would be. I'm not sure if they're still working on it. Other than the lame Clone War series, there is a live-action SW series planned for sometime around 2010 and a WWII movie called Red Tails is in early development/pre-production.

The title of this thread should be changed to "luca$hfilms future star wars rejects".

as for the clone wars animated movie i refuse to plunk down my $12.50 for a 90 minute videogame cutscene.

George can spend millions on 3D jar jar, but the oot remains buried.

No kidding. Judging from the clips that've been released, the graphics look slightly less advanced than most PS2 games I've seen. Final Fantasy: TSW, though a pretty poor movie, was light-years ahead of this "production" in terms of CGI, and it was released way back in '01!

If the plot looked promising, I might be tempted to look beyond the shabby CGI, but - alas - it sounds to be even worse than the PT in that regard. ::sigh::

i cant wait to see the 3d animated clone wars, - the 2d ones were too short, and lacking in graphics i thought...

i've also like cg, and have been interested in it for many years..and of course its star wars related!

bring it on George!!

Guys, I do not care for the look of these movies - but hey, they are copying the style of the cartoon, so I cannot complain.
