Need help with fandeit equipment/programs

Hello, I just recently got into watching fanedits and am intersted in making my own, but am not sure where to start in terms of equipment. I’d like to ideally make my own edits and transfer them to blu-ray so that I can add them to my own movie collection with customized packaging and disc artwork. I own a MacBook pro and was wondering if this list that I came up with would be efficeint enough for creating a high quility film edit for blu-ray along with Blu-ray packaging.

Blu-Ray Drive: LG WH16NS40

USB-C CORD: MacBook cord to connect drive to laptop

MAKEMKV: Ripping Program to transfer disc files into MKV format

FINAL CUT PRO: Editing Program

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR: For making Blu-Ray case and Disc Cover art

Another question that I have is, some of the fan edits that I have watched in the past don’t always have the best sound quality, when compared to their original blu-ray or streaming channel. I recently watched a fan edit, where I’d have to constanly raise and lower the volume because diolgue scenes would be too low, and action scenes would be too high on my tv, but when watching it on it on a streaming service the sound never fluxuated like in the fan edit. Would I have to get a sound mixing program in order to deal with these type of issues?

As for blu-ray menu creation, which programs would you recomend when it comes to creating costum menus that run on Mac?

I’d like to also by a new printer for myself and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on which ones are capable of printing artwork directly onto the Blu-ray Disc that aren’t over 300 dollars.

Thanks in advance for all of your recommendations.
