Need help finding a star wars book

I read a enovel off of Kindle and can no longer find the book. I can’t remember the title. The main character name is something like Preston waycaster he is neither light side or dark side of force but is very powerful and uses a white light saber. Has anyone read this same book

A quick Google search has come up with a story called “A Force To Contend With”. Based on the Amazon information, it seems to be an unnoficial story (like self-published fan fiction).
