In general every single franchise title sounds stupid to me until I’ve heard it a few thousand times and actually seen the movie.

Although TPM and especially AOTC still sound stupid.

VIII - Legacy of the Republic

If Luke’s been missing to find the first Jedi Temple (and the Jedi historically protected the Republic) then the episode might be framed around the early days of both.

“Legacy of The Jedi” sounds better imo.

I found myself arguing against that, and I can’t remember why. Part of it might be that I’m hoping to see more of how the Old Republic, the Jedi, and even how the First Order and New Republic are intertwined. If the story does go in that direction, I’d think using the Republic as the framing point of these relations would be better than the Jedi. Of course, I fully expect that it’s just going to be Jedi/Force centric, rather than using the Republic as the foundation.

The Clones do attack some people AND there is a veiled phantomatic menace. The Sith take their revenge, there is then a new hope which leads to a retaliation and finally to a return, until something awakens. SW titles are good.

I forgot about this one but since it would be off-topic I won’t say more…

The clones didn’t attack. They were deployed. What were the Sith getting Revenge from? The Force fell asleep?

Rebel freedom fighters defeated the evil Galactic Empire in some STAR WARS.
The Empire struck back.
A Jedi returned and saved the galaxy.

Perhaps it was dormant from the perspective of the general population.

I guess you would have preferred The Luke Awakens but I don’t think I like that.

It was dormant.

The dark side seems to be pretty busy.

Not really. Sure, Darksiders were amassing armies and such, but did the Force really have much to do with that? They just started a military organization and it happened to get big and popular.

There’s no difference dude…the Clones literally swarmed in and opened fire on the Battle Droids.
