NO OOT Box Set?

I just went to play.com to pre-order the OOT. I have waited so so so long for this and there was one point where i thought it would never happen, especially when Lucas told Empire magazine that he did not consider there to be an original trilogy! I was spitting blood with rage. But it seems that OOT is only available as individual dvds and not as a box set, like the other dvds, which i refused to buy on principal.

Does anyone know if there is a (region 2) box set being released or am I just going to have to pre-order the individual dvds?

No OOT Bot Sex? Well, Artoo uses that little arm to ... ohh, OOT Box Set. Yeah, these are individual releases. So far.

I've always wondered if the OOT could be released on their own (without the SE's) in some obscure countries.

The current situation is that Star Wars episodes 4-6 will be made available on 11th, 12th or 13th of September this year (depending upon your DVD region), with 2 versions of each episode to be sold in seperate packages. They have been transferred from the laserdisc master tapes produced in 1993. The picture will be in 4:3 letterbox format and will have 2.0 stereo surround sound. These transfers will be on Disc 2 of each set, and is described as 'Bonus Material', while Disc 1 will be the DVD version of the SEs first released in 2004 and then re-released in 2005. These are different to the SE versions released theatrically in 1997.

$90, so an extra $30 for just the tin? Hardly worth it IMO. And I say "just" because you can get all 3 movies directly from starwars.com for $59.99 right now or Amazon.com for $53.61 (just to name a few).

Ya, but there is a difference in US and Canadian dollars.

It does have a proper OUT poster on the tin, even if it has the sucky modern logo and roman numerals. But pricey compared to this deal.
