They lost in the Superbowl.  But I'm not sure that losing the Superbowl had anything to do with leaving the players in for too long.   I don't seem to remember them suffering any serious injuries.

Yeah, if I was a Viking fan, I think I'd be upset that they risked injury to Farve that way.  However, I'm not a Vikings fan and I won't lose any sleep over a team running up the score on the Cowboys.   It couldn't happen to a nicer team.  The Cowboys used to do that to the Eagles all the time back in the Tom Landry days.

I was talking about karma.

I believe it will be the Colts vs the Saints.   The Saints will get killed.

I agree , but this one is to close to call .

Saints FTW. As neither the Vikings nor the Saints have won a Super Bowl, I'm on the NFC bandwagon this year. (I usually am an NFC, but when my team is not involved I root for the team that hasn't done it before; when two SB teams have won it before, I root for the underdog)

That last TD pass was bush league.

Let me rephrase...it was damn stupid.  What if Favre had gotten hurt?  What the hell was he even doing in the game, let alone passing?  Two minutes left, up 27-3...hand the ball off or kick the field goal.

It reminded me of the '07 Patriots leaving all their starters in when they were winning 540-7 with a few minutes left, all season long.  And we all remember how that season ended up.

Well said, Frink.  Well said.

I'm not sure how that would make the situation any better.   She's still dead either way.

So who's watching the the big one tonight , any parties planned ?

I think a more proper question would be, who is not watching? and if so, are you nuts??

SO , thats the NFL for another 7 months.

Will the soap opera known as Brett Favres retirement continue ?

Will the Cowboys have a home game for the superbowl ?

Will a third team who play in London win the superbowl ?

Yes, unless we can somehow send a cyborg back from the future to take out his mom.

Hahahaha.  As a Cowboy fan, I love it.  I had to call my Redskin-fan brother-in-law immediately.  He kept saying "no. no. no." over and over.

Isn't this the ultimate insult by the Iggles to Donovan?  "Not only do we think you are no longer worth keeping, but we are sending you to a divisional rival because we think you will be a liability for them.  It's a win-win for us."   Hilarious.

Wasnt McNabb the main driving force in getting vick into the Eagles team?, now McNabb's gone and the dog killer is still there ( at the moment ).

I really hope they trade vick soon.    I want to be able to cheer good and loud the first time Mcnabb gets sacked bY the eagles.

nah, that won't happen.   All we need to do is get Mcnabb and the skins in situation where they have run the 2 minute drill to win.   Mcnabb will puke all over field and the game with be over.
