I hope I am wrong, but I am convinced that the Eagles win not win the rest of their games(even if they did, they would still need help to make the playoffs). I am convinced that they will not win the Superbowl this year nor make the playoffs. That said , in a small way I hope they lose the rest of their games in order to get a higher pick in the draft. I am true fan, but I am also a realist. The only reason I said go Broncos is because they were playing the Cowgirls. A true Eagles fan cheers for any team playing the Cowgirls, with the possible exception of the Giants.
RIGHT NOW I'M HOPING FOR THE GIANTS TO LOSE THIS WEEK. I'M NOT SURE WHO THEY PLAY THOUGH. IT MAY BE THE REDSKINS. ZION, CONGRATS ON DENVER'S WIN OVER THE COWBOYS. IT WAS A CLOSE ONE WHICH I KNEW IT WOULD BE.

Dayv, it was a clean hit. Of course, I wish the injured Packers a speedy recovery.
It's not. The Grey Cup used to be an amateur challenge cup, just like the Stanley Cup. The Candadian Football League, the professional league, split from the now-defunct Canadian Rugby Football Union in 1956.

"In general, I am a risk-taker. We've gone down that road," Jones said when asked if the Cowboys might be interested in Owens. "I probably have a propensity to try and make things work. ... A top receiver could flourish with Drew Bledsoe. That's always appealing."'
The comment indicates that "generally" he is a risk taker but that could be interpreted to mean that, in this case, he won't despite his "propensity." It also indicates that there may be other forces within the organization pushing to get TO and that Jones may not have as much say in it as you would think and that he is willing to work through it should he wind up stuck with TO.

And beware the "..." in any news article, because it generally means that the quote is being taken out of context. Jerry Jones could have said, "I will not hire TO, even though..." and the rest of the quote continues.
A very good point. That ... is a dangerous thing when it comes to loose interpretation. It protects the hell out of reporters while giving them creative license to interpret in any way they feel appropriate to get their story.

I'm banking that Indy's next three games will be very close and possibly upsets. Tennessee might suprise some people on Sunday at Indy. McNair is coming off his best game of the season. I predict a close game where the Colts will have to prove how good they are in the final minutes. A week later at Jacksonville, Colts will see their toughest division rival and this could turn out exactly like their first meeting this year, with the game being decided by one score in the fourth quarter. After that, the Chargers will be fighting for a wild card spot and are really a better team than their record indicates. And remember they almost beat the Colts in Indy last season. Tomlinson will run all over them, and again this will come down to the final minutes.
I continue to hope that the Broncos will win out and challenge Indy for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Though the likely outcome of the season will be Denver (13-3) at Indy (14-2) for the AFC Championship. Even in that scenario, I believe Denver and San Diego are the only AFC teams that can beat Indy in the playoffs. And I'm saying this right now, Denver will not get blown out by the Colts this year if they meet.
