I wish to say that I apologize for calling ABC and Bingowings ass-clowns.   I shouldn't have resorted to name calling.   I'm still going to keep you on ignore.   But I was wrong for resorting to name calling.  I promised myself I wasn't going to do that anymore.    I let my anger get to me.   I still have a long way to go.

No problem.

Apart from the fact some really seem to seek something they will never find in the Off Topic section from this site, I think some of us may have an overdose of each others posts. I had the same problem with DS a few days ago and we finally settled that friendly by pm + ignore. With a little distance now I think he may be not only more clever than I thought, but even more clever than I am.

In the other hand I really think some here are over-estimating themselves seriously.

This guy Warb has decided he had a problem with two guys since the beginning and succeeds in building the worst interpretations he wants to make you say, or adress to himself any wrong thing he can imagine. Unfortunately for him, he can imagine a lot. You'll allow me that little cloud for the day:

^ And he continues to press things and stir up trouble, while pretending to be above perfect. Nice. Just not going to let any of this go, are you?

While I will confess to being sometimes confused about Warbler's occasional random declarations of discontent, he hasn't ever done anything that's actually offended me, even his single blast F-bomb was more amusing than offensive.

I don't think he has stirred up any trouble as nobody seems to be giving his interjections much in the way of attention so I don't agree with C3PX's description of Warbler and I don't see much evidence for A B C's either.

It was nice of him to offer an apology but totally unnecessary from this side because I was in no way offended ( I am a bit of clown sometimes, though literate Equines may be offended with association with me...heaven knows why).

Ah, ok.  A little tip: ? usually means that you don't understand the point of the post.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Bingo, you know very well I was talking about ABC and pointing to his post. Would you stop twisting things for your own amusement.

You were pointing to A B C's description of Warbler so it's an understandable error.

I don't know if I understood your last posts Bingo (laguage/formulation issue for me), but anyway I was just trying to say Warb was harming himself more than us with the interpretation he has of our posts - or way to post.

PS: if he wasn't ignoring my posts I wouldn't have posted the image besides, so sure I am he would have wrongly identified with it...

Dont name members directly i said, if you have a problem speak to them about it personally not publicly as i said.

You seem to have a problem with more than a few people other than myself it seems.

Sorry man: I should have said "someone". Now you quoted it.

Also note that I said "I had a problem". Starting from this it's not your fault, but more mine: "My" problem. It's then more ABC who is in cause with you... Not you. I don't know if someone will catch this paradox one day, my boy!

The state of ot.com off topic is pretty much summed up in this thread.

I don't thinks so.

A better impression comes from reading the creative project threads and I include the Savestarwars thread in there.

People backing each other, inspiring each other, helping each other out.

This is just the circus tent.

^ Opps Again!

Possibly but only in the last couple of weeks or so and the off topic area being not based on our common passions for Star Wars  and film preservation is bound put a disproportionate light on our differences rather than what unites us.

That's why I mentioned all the help you can get from here, post quickly forgotten to let place to more fuss between off topic section posters (ironic!).

This site is brilliant for anyone working on all kinds of improvements. Great people around, with unexpected ones acting in the dark. Sometime bringing even incredible stuff not even ever mentionned here around.

Even much derided and now banned people just can't help from not helping people here.

So yeah on the whole this is one of the most creative and supportive sites on the web and nothing like what threads like this one or the off topic section in general could lead people to believe.

I agree.  The help I've received over the years where film audio is concerned has been a Godsend.

And while I'm at it, I can't imagine another site where I - a Star Wars 1977 Only Fan, Who Actually Prefers The NPR Radio Version - would be welcome. The occasional weird\overly silly\sometimes angry threads are just part of what makes this site unique. And we even have a fantasy baseball league.

Haha !!! I've only listened the 1980 ESB NPR RD version, but it was great !... Far more immersive.

This is my favorite post of the thread.

*high-five*

I've never been a 'sir-posts-a-lot' but it is fun to occasionally chime in to the serious and not so serious discussions, especially here in off-topic.

Pfft.  Not even close to the best post of the thread.  Here it is:
