I took it as insulting, maybe you didn't mean it that way, if so I apologize.   Either way I did overreact, so I apologize for that regardless.

Also if Frink had said that it wouldn't have pissed me off at all, so I guess it's unfair of me to have favoritism as regards to who makes what comment, so in that regard I was in the wrong also.  Especially since I've never really had problems with him in the past, so it was even more wrong of me to have preconceived notions based purely on observations with others.  So I apologize to Hotrod for that misstep.

Well I guess I'll just abandon this thread and let you guys flame each other.  There's no point in trying to salvage it. Only one person here seems interested in what it was supposed to be about, and that person can always check my soundcloud page to see if I've added new things, so there's no point to continue to update.  This has gone so far off base, I don't even care anymore.  What a great forum.

I'm over it.  I misinterpreted your intentions hotrod and I'm sorry.  I just mean there's not really any point in my posting it for one person, they can see it on the soundcloud page.  I'm not bitching about it just stating it. I was already over it with my last post but somebody else brought it up again.  (for what it's worth I forgive them too.  lol)

Almost didn't post this in this thread because I'm so embarassed about my behavior in it a couple months ago, I was going through a tough time so I hope anyone that is newly discovering the thread via this bump will be understanding when they read it and rest assured I've stopped being so sensitive.  :P

Sounds good. I've never heard the original, so I can't compare.

One comment I have on "Alteration" is that the drum stick on the side of the drum, or whatever it is, that begins tapping about a minute into the song is too loud and kind of overpowers the melody (because it's a fast, sudden drumming sound, I think my ear is drawn to it and focuses on it too much). I think it would sound better toned back a bit.

Nothing except the Mega Man song on there is current anyway, I got a new amplifier and rerecorded EVERYTHING with it, and learned better, cleaner ways of mixing that sound much less busy now, so that's probably irrelevant now.

But anyway, are you still listening with only one earbud?  Because if so, your experience is tainted anyway because as previously stated there are guitar tracks and layers panned hard 100% left and 100% right, so if you're only listening to one speaker, the stuff in the middle (like the drums) will sound louder because you're missing a layer of sound that would, in a stereo setting, "cover it up" a bit.
