I was really bored so I watched the Empire dvd with commentary on...anyways, besides the fact that Irvin Kirschner is the worse commentator ever, anyone remember how the Emperor from Jedi and the Prequels was added to the movie? Well, he's not credited in the credits...the old guy's name was still there!

Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

None of the end credits were changed.

I'd also like to state my opinion that I thought Irvin's commentary segments were the best out of the whole set. The dude knew what he wanted to do and exactly how to do it. What's more, he's still enthusiastic as he is about the film over two decades later. Made me love the guy.

Well, that is true, he did make ESB to begin with. I guess the commentary just made me love him more. Honestly, after listening to the commentary, I don't understand how Lucas could have learned from him and then went insane.

Kershner's commemtary was the best thing about the official DVDs.

Kershner's comentaries were OK. What pissed me off is that when something like the new emperor scene or the scene with hayden over sebastian shaw came in, GL would just shut up and not talk about it... I wish I could just say "Come one GEORGE! Now talk about THAT, will you?!"
