As far as I know, population increases by "waves", ir goes up faster, and then goes up slowly... Every time one of those "waves" hit, we get another generation... People born afer 2004 are now called Generation Z.

I don't think they'd name a whole generation after the TMNT.

I would suspect that our generation would be named more like something that imparts the fact that we are the Post Cold-War generation.
