Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Sadly the movie does not feature "Hey You" (the scene for that song was cut).

I'm currently listening to Beatles LOVE, which is very good but could be better - most of the songs sound exactly as the original version.

That bugged the hell out of me! What was the purpose of leaving it out?!

Both Roger Waters and the director thought the scene with the song (rioting crowds) broke the rhythm of the movie and was too down beat in a sad moment of the film. They wanted to bring the scene back later, but the footage is lost.

Are you sure it's lost? It's in the special features section on the remastered DVD. (Unless that's just a different clip that they put the song to.)

The song is included on the soundtrack for the movie (not the same as the original album), but the original "Hey You" scene is indeed lost. Some of the footage remained on the film on different sequences, and some other footage could have been used for the DVD special feature (actually some of the footage do exist in bad shape from a work print).

I haven't watched the whole clip, but the beginning looks like it's in pretty bad shape, like a workprint.

I love Sigur Ros, but have become very bored with them lately. I guess listening to them for 5 1/2 years straight could do that to a person.

The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
David Bowie
Queen
Weezer (old)
Smashing Pumpkins

Here are some bands and music styles I listen to a lot:

NES Cover bands: Minibosses, The Advantage, Xoc, Virt, Project X, etc...

Rock, etc...: Buckethead, Megadeth, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Huevos Rancheros, Dick Dale, The Ventures, Jason Becker, Dream Theater, The Hellecasters, Paul Gilbert, Racer X, Al Di Meola, John Williams' movie scores, Impellitteri, etc...

The overwhelming theme of most of the stuff I like is the guitar. I'd say that on a whole, my tastes are pretty eclectic.

Just spent the past 6 hours or so playing Guitar Hero II with a friend. That was fun! He had played it before, so was a bit more used to the buttons. I had a tough time when the 4th and 5th buttons were introduced into songs on the medium to expert settings. We actually did ok playing co-op together on some of the expert songs. That was cool.
