I just downloaded an XviD of the Japanese (uncut) version of KILL BILL: VOL. 1. (Quick note that I've alreay purchased both US versions of KILL BILL VOL. 1 & 2.) Now I want to put it into Vegas (I have Version 5.0a build 134), but once I put it into media pool it just sits there and it won't let me put it into the trimmer or anything at all. Here are the details on the file from GSpot:

What exactly are you trying to do?

Are there differences on the Japanese version? I'm in the navy stationed in Japan, and I saw both of them in a Japanese theater...they weren't any different from the US dvd releases.

If there's any difference between the Japanese and US dvd's, I wouldn't be downloading the Japanese version. Just order it online and play it in a region-free dvd player.

I've also heard that they're releasing a director's cut, which will be the entire film in one piece, instead of in two volumes. I'm not sure whether or not that's been confirmed though.

First, the Japanese version has the HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES fight in full color. Second it has a few added shots in HOBL, and the anime sequence has some extra Japanese lines. The rip I have does have subs, but everytime I run it through VirtualDub it comes out jerky as hell....any thoughts? I can't post on Video Help until tomorrow (their damn 2-day rule)...

And Shimraa, I have no idea what it is, it was just the best one I saw at the time.
