Wasn’t Jango’s jetpack damaged by the Reek beast rather than a saber?
You could be right. Haven’t watched AotC in a long while.

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned, but there’s a gorgeous (but still imperfect) deepfake already up for THAT character at the end of The Rescue. Definitely should reach out to this person for a copy of their master file. The overall look, eye reflections and skin texture were vast improvements for me.
Shamook is a blessing.

You’re so right! I can’t believe there aren’t more edits of Rogue One (and even Solo) that incorporate his work. I know the resolution of the render can be a problem with deepfakes, but the jump in quality is too big for me to not desperately want this.
And swapping in Shamook’s Luke is the smallest potential deepfake edit job we have now, other than fixing Leia but not Tarkin in R1.
This is an edit I just put together to fully integrate Shamook’s Deepfake Luke into the Mandalorian scene.
If you download it, it looks way better.

It’s hard to deny, it is an improvement. I wish someone could tweak the mouth animation a bit is all. If you watch without sound it’s a jaw going up and down like a muppet basically!

Loads better and it’s now non-terrifying.
I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.
Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.

If Lego Star Wars the Skywalker saga Mandalorian Season 2 pack includes “The Jedi” Episode and have Ashley Eckstein re-record Rosario’s lines, you should replaced Rosario’s voice with Ashley’s.

Nah, Rosario gave a great performance and will reprise the character in her own series. We shouldn’t try and replace the woman of colour in every live action appearance for no reason…
I’d rather overdub Hayden Christiansen and Mat Lucas with Matt Lanter in the prequels and 2003 series… but that’s similarly unnecessary.

Rosario was great, replacing the voice would be ridiculous.
Yeah Rosario absolutely nailed it as Ahsoka. I love Ashley’s version but overdubbing the live action version with her would be unnecessary.

It might, but if Lego did this, then EndlessAbyss would do “The Mandalorian Ahsoka with her Clone Wars/Rebels styled voice”.
Think this is worth checking out. https://youtu.be/pRr-7JIHt2Y Would love to see it added to the edit in some way, that’s if everyone else feels the same way about it. I must say, the music does feel a bit over the top at times. But the blaster sound effects and the way the Mando theme fades to Boba’s theme at the end is a nice touch

That’s very well done. My initial thoughts were to use his OT theme when we first see him on Tatooine, as a musical reintroduction, and then stick to his new theme.

Boba had a theme?
Boba had a theme?
It’s quite prominent really… Not sure how anyone could miss it.

I was more curious to his theme from the OT, personally. While I know he was at one point intended as the big bad to VI, I thought that was abandoned fairly early (hence his disposal in the Sarlacc). Does he have a Williams theme?

If you haven’t already listened to them, the RFR Star Wars Oxygen podcasts discussing the Star Wars scores are amazing.
Here is what I’m thinking
Current Project: Mando EP4: Return to Mandalore
I’m still debating what to do with season 2, so I’m going through the process of trying a few things out to see how well they work.
The first one is removing the Krayt Dragon. Its a great sequence but it is very much a side quest. Here I’ve cut together a sequence where it has been removed. Let me know your thoughts.

Wow, smudger, looks great 😉
Just do one epic combo 3h movie 😉

I like it.
It just seems a little strange that Mando leaves and Boba’s helmet still remains on the table.

The editing is great, but I’m not sure about its implications for the story. I worry it would leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth for the main character to kill a friendly marshall just trying to protect his town… especially when the rest of the movie is Din generally being heroic. There are no scenes to retrofit into potential guilt either so it would feel awkward when he hands it out to someone he doesn’t yet know is Mandalorian (Boba).
I think it would be better to just start the movie with Mando walking into Mos Eisley with Boba’s armor. How he acquired it would be an off-hand reference, like the Bounty Hunter on Ord Mantell or the Battle of Tanaab.
What if Episode II had an opening sequence with Cobb Vanth and their small adventure to explain how Mando got Fett’s armor and then we jump to the opening titles?

At that point we don’t know that he’s a friendly Marshall, and Mando has already hung a man up and left him to die in the episode. Also the way its cut leaves it open to interpretation. We don’t know if Mando killed him, we just know that he fired a blaster and took the armour.
However, I’m probably going to keep most of the Tattooine sequence and just edit it down. I’ve got a working cut now that is 30mins total duration. My next task is to get Mando to Trask as soon as possible and ideally with an undamaged Razorcrest!
Current Project: Mando EP4: Return to Mandalore
So I’m finally getting a decent cut together clocking in at 2h 22mins.
I’ve managed to solve the damaged Razorcrest issue by cutting together a landing on Trask with the ship intact. I then cut from Mando leaving the Imperial ship to the Razorcrest heading to meet Ahsoka.
The only outstanding issue is Mando finding out that Gideon is alive. Its a major plot point and reveal, but having cut that whole Nevarro trip, I can’t work it into the story. Putting it into the opening crawl is a major cop out. I’ve explored cutting it into his meeting with Cara, but nothing works well.
