Making links in DVD lab pro

I'm currently trying to make a DVD menu for my project in DVD lab pro. I've made the names for my buttons (forgive me if I'm using the wrong terms, I'm not real familiar with making DVD menus), but I can't figure out how to connect what I want to them.

For the "credits" button, I want it to link to a jpeg that I made with my thank you list, edit info, etc. I've imported the jpeg into the images assets area. But I'm stuck there.

I'm also trying to figure out how to make the "options" link to the audio options. I have a 5.1 and 2.0 dolby mix, both loaded into the movie menu.

And finally, I added a VTS (VTS 2) somehow, and I don't want it. How do I get rid of this.

I've borrowed my cousin's laptop to use his DVD lab pro, and he is out of town, or I would just ask him.

I'm also wanting to add one of those nifty fanedit "warning" logos at the beginning of the movie. I can't remember which fanedit I saw one of those on, but I would like to borrow it or make my own if need be. Where/how do I insert something like that?

For the credits you can select "backgrounds" and open the jpeg. Then you create another menu and use the "credits background" as background. Then you rightclick the credits button in menu 1 and link it to menu 2.

For audio options you have to make another menu with 2 buttons, 1 for each audio track. You rightclick the "options" button and link it to the audio selection menu. You can rightclick the audio track buttons and link them to the correct audio track.

Click "VTS 2" one time to select it and press the delete button on your keyboard.

For the Credits thing, you have to create a new menu and drag your JPEG image onto it. If you hold down the Shift key while dragging the image onto the menu, it will make it the background.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

Can I make the buttons out of shaped jpegs? For instance I'd like to make the Transformer symbols the buttons for the audio choices. Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can. Go to "objects" (next to "video&audio" and "backgrounds"). Then import the jpegs you want as buttons. You can now drag them to the menu and use them as buttons. Just rightclick them and link them to the audio.

I would also suggest changing the standard dvd-lab purple color of the buttons. You can do that by changing the colors in the "map" menu, it's on the right of your dvd-lab screen under properties. Just change the colors and run "menu > simulate" to see if you like the effect.

Thanks again! This program is pretty awesome once you figure out how to use it. It becomes intuitive after a while (reminds me of Photoshop in that sense). I believe I'll be buying this for myself.
