Randy Moss is on my fantasy team, so I am pulling for the Vikes as well.

Dayv, did you see the VH-1 "When Star Wars Ruled the World" special? They showed Peter Mayhew. Man, the Wookiee costume is an improvement. At least Chewie's hair is combed. Now that I know he lives in Texas, it makes me wonder if a tumbleweed got stuck on his head.

My wife and I were told that we should take a weekend trip to San Antonio (recommended by her parents). Dunno when we'll do it, but it sounds like fun. How far's SA from you in Dallas? I'm too lazy to bring up a map right now.

I'M ABOUT TO THROW DOWN THE GAUNLET. I'VE TRIED NEARLY EVERY ISP IN HOPES OF GETTING HIGH SPEED INTERNET SERVICE. I'VE EVEN TRIED THE LOCAL CABLE COMPANIES. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE EARTHLINK HAS DISCONNECTED NEARLY TWO HUNDRED OF ITS DIAL-UP NUMBERS IN THE DALLAS. I NOW HAVE A WHOLE TWELVE NUMBERS TO USE INSTEAD OF THE BEFORE MENTIONED TWO HUNDRED. WHAT THIS ALSO MEANS IS THAT ALL OF THE OTHER EARTHLINK DIAL-UP CUSTOMERS ARE IN THE SAME BOAT. NOW THOSE OF US WHO HAVE A 56K DIAL-UP MODEM ARE NOW LUCKY IF WE CAN SQUEEZE 28K OUT OF OUT INTERNET CONNECTIONS SINCE WE'RE ALL HAVING TO SHARE THE TWELVE ACCESS NUMBERS. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF US IN DALLAS ARE GETTING POOR SERVICE FROM A COMPANY THAT CLAIMS TO BE THE BEST. WHAT THEY'RE (EARTHLINK) IS DOING IS FORCING ITS DIAL-UP CUSTOERS TO PAY MORE FOR HIGH SPEED INTERNET. WHAT ABOUT THOSE OF US WHO CAN'T GET IT BECAUSE WH'RE NOT IN THE HIGH SPEED SERVICE AREA ??? WE'RE GETTING SCREWED. AND NOT JUST BY EARTHLINK BUT BY EVERY ISP WHO WON'T SHELL OUT THE MONEY TO HAVE THE LINES PUT IN OUR AREAS. HELL, I WOULD PAY THE EXTRA MONEY FOR HIGH SPEED IF I COULD GET IT, AND I'M SURE THAT MOST EVERYBODY WITH THIS SAME PROBLEM WOULD ALSO. ISPs AND ANY OTHER BUSINESS HAS EVERY RIGHT TO MAKE MONEY, AND I DON'T BLAME THEM FOR IT. WHAT I DO BLAME THEM FOR IS NOT PROVIDIN THE SERVICE THAT THEY WANT TO MAKE THIS MONEY OFF OF TO EVERYBODY.

That's ridiculous, DAYV. There is no good reason why you shouldn't be able to get access to high-speed internet. I live in a city with a population of ~900 000 and had no trouble getting high speed access. Go figure.
