has anyone had luck converting AVI to a video_TS folder (on a MAC)? I spent a good full weekend trying advice I found on google but was never able to. I wonder if it would tighten the picture up a bit if it was burned to a dvd.

or you could ask around and see if someone would send you the dvd version. the avi one floating around was made from the dvd version.

that would 'tighten the picture up' more than just a bit

ps. I second nanner, wasnt MagFan working on a ROTS edit? What happened with that, and where did MagFan go? I also thought he was redoing his Ep I and Ep II edits.

Would someone be willing to seed the myspleen avi for just a little bit - two of us are stuck at 99.9% - 1MB left to dl - the NFO, 1 piece of the first mp3, and 1 piece of the avi itself.

I would greatly appreciate it.

And if someone could seed the Clone War avi too...

A new comment on an old forum, but I've wondered for the longest time . . .

Did you ever make an edit of III? I loved the first two and would love a complete set, but finding whether or not there is a third edit (let alone how to get it) is difficult.

So, seriously, what's a guy got to do to get his hands on these amazing edits I hear so much talk about?
I followed the official DVD index thread here, and I'd love to actually be able to enjoy Episodes 1 & 2 if these are the cuts that make that possible (not sure it's even a possibility given the material people have to work with).
So, really, what's a guy (or girl) to do?
Thanks in advance for any pointers, as I am a newbie to the forum.

Yes, there SHOULD be an edit of Episode III on the way I know that MAGFAN has been VERY busy with other projects for school and work and they are a bit more of a priority at this time. BUT we should get them one day!

I also have the proper DVD discs (JUST to be CLEAR these are not the "NEW Coming Soon" version but the OLD versions and have had them for YEARS now!) and can still mail them out so drop me an EMAIL for details (my email is in my sig so please NO PM's) AND I have three sets that I will mail out in just a day or so to the first three EMAILS I get in regards to these edits so email me today!!

To Everyone: I got the names and addys and will be shipping the discs out some time at the end of the week.

To Darkhelmet: You'll need to read back into the thread for more details I send out DVD's when I have the money to cover postage but I mostly upload them to the net (not as fast but cheaper )

Rikter, I'd also like to get my hands on these two edits MagnoliaFan did of Episodes 1 and 2. Alas, I'll be away from home 5/20 to 6/3.

If you can drop me a line at ElevatedSerenity@gmail.com, I'd love to be able to work out arrangements with you in order to get these.

BTW, for the whole forum...does anyone know where I can get that Matrix Trilogy edit I've been hearing about online? My internet speed is basically twice what dialup is, so I can't really download any large files. Any help finding these would be appreciated.
