Yes, while I admit it is sacreligious to not use a grill, there are those moments you just crave a hotdog or hamburger, even in the midst of winter. When that happens, I don't care, just gimme my dead cow.

already eaten that hotdog/burger? go to your doctor.

Home food rocks - at least you know what you eat... and my Mum's burgers aren't that flat and plain as those served in McDonnald's (they only look good on ads, remember that movie with Michael Douglas?).

Anyone remembers that scene (you can kill me, but I don't recall where did I saw it) where two nice cooks from little Italian restaurant are giving policemen their ordered cheeseburgers with a smile - after spitting on them in the kitchen?

No chance. Hotdogs in Chicago are required to be topped with all manner of ungodly condiments that I can't stand. Don't like pickles, relish, onions, mustard, et al. When I eat a hot dog, I use cheese and ketchup and nothing else. In Chi-town, they kick you out of hot dog joints if you ask for ketchup. I'll make it myself, thanks.

As for burger joints, I've found very few that can make it the way I like it. Only Portillos can do it right, but why spend the money when I can do it myself.

But sometimes you just get that urge and you need a dead cow on a bun.

I'm using mail that came with my G4 i-book. it works okay for me. Once I get out of the church tough, I'm going to have to get a different program. I also was given some really powerful software along with my i-book. For starters, I have photoshop 7, Adobe Creative Suite which has Photoshop, In-design, and Illustrator CS. I also have Final Cut Express 2 which by the time I leave will be upgraded to Final Cut Pro 4. I am thinking about buying FCP4 once I leave the internship. I'm also looking at getting a G5 with Cineawave HD installed. That basically means I'll have a HD editor will HD component input/outputs!! No more Firewire! nothing but the absolute best from here on out! Oh, and I'm also thinking about Adobe After Effects too!
