Called it two years ago. Disney announces Celebration will be the 'first' place to see Sith in 3D. Throwing this out now - lead up to Episode 7 I think we're going to see special engagements of at least some of the remaining films in 3D. I'll also go on record saying I actually thought TPM3D was an improvement, and I think I'll took the right approach with their fairly subtle 3D conversion there.
They've been taking the emphasis off the prequels since axing The Clone Wars, and didn't AOTC get shown at Celebration Europe a couple years back?
IIRC, the prequel conversions were done by the time Disney got Lucasfilm. The status of the OT conversion was a tad murky.
Disney can't even be bothered to release their own product on 3D Blu Ray in the states these days, so it remains to be seen what their plans are.
