He was one of the Doctor Who guys (as was Brian Blessed, come to think of it Peter Wyngarde was in Doctor Who too so you could strike Jason King groovy as it is off the list).

You know, fun as that pastiche is I would really like to see someone try a feature length Jedi edit which put some Lynchian ideas in.
Having Palpatine mess with Luke's mind like that (if done with a little less obvious humour) could make him much more frightening.
Just imagine how sleazy Jabba's Palace would have been with Lynch in charge.
I can't imagine even him coming up with something a sexually worrying as the Sarlacc though.
Flesh eating Teddy Bears and vagina dentata?
I think the only reason Lynch said no to the gig was because he met George.

Lost Highway. What the hell?!?! One of the few films I've actually given up on. I only lasted about 30 minutes. (The LD rot didn't help any.)

Lost Highway.
Now there was a scary film moment.
I popped that charming little picture on when I was alone in the small hours of the morning in a darkened room.
The bit where the Mystery Man gets Bill Pullman to ring his home telling him that he was there came up.
Just as he dialed, my phone rang.
It was a wrong number.
