And you are aware that the boulder scene in Raiders was a direct homage, or a ripoff, to a much older movie, right?  There aren't any original ideas, they're all just repackaged.  The good repackagings are done well.  The bad ones are done poorly.

Take a look at the scene in "The Rundown" when they're about to get the priceless artifact.  That's a total cross between the second trial in the Last Crusade and getting the idol in Raiders.  It was done fairly well, but even while watching it I knew it reminded me of something.
