Lord of the Rings EE BD trilogy - few questions

FOTR has a different color grading in comparison to the EE DVD; what about the other two movies?

I'd like to know the bitrate of the DTS HD-MA soundtracks, where available, or the best alternative, for all the three EE movies in the following languages:

  • english (should be 4718kbps IIRC)
  • french
  • german
  • italian
  • spanish

Also, italian soundtrack has the wrong pitch... while the 25fps PAL DVD has (strangely) the correct pitch, when they ported it to 23.976fps they corrected the corrected one, so final result is wrong... any advice about this problem in one of the other languages - apart english, that should not be affected I think?

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure we settled on the BD EE for TTT and RotK has the same color grading as the DVD EEs, but different from theatricals.

I was pretty sure about it, but I need a confirmation; thanks!

I thought to do a color regrading of the FOTS using DVD as color reference, and leave the others as they are - if the don't need some adjustment, but I don't think so; only, as there are some empty space in each BD-50 - up to 10/11GB in some, IIRC - I thought to add those five soundtracks to fill that space...

Good or bad idea?

I'm waiting for the inevitable mega-box with all six movies and 20+ discs. Maybe they'll unfuck the color grading problem when that happens, though theafter will probably happen around the same time as Blus of Leone's Dollars trilogy come out with the mono tracks like they should, ie never.
