Any other fans on here?

"Pleasure’s fun. It’s great, but you can’t keep it going forever; just accept the fact that it’s here and it’s gone, and maybe then again, it will come back, and you’ll get to do it again. Joy lasts forever. Pleasure is purely self-centered. It’s all about your pleasure: it’s about you. It’s a selfish, self-centered emotion, that is created by a self-centered motive of greed. Joy is compassion. Joy is giving yourself to somebody else, or something else. And it’s a kind of thing that is, in its subtlety and lowness, much more powerful than pleasure. You get hung up on pleasure; you’re doomed. If you pursue joy; you will find everlasting happiness.” - George Lucas

^ this guy was quality too, and like another certain franchise… could do with more appearances from K9. 😉

Looney Tunes were a staple for many kids in the UK back in the 70’s and 80’s. Where childrens’ tv had next-to-no budget… so endless repeats of everything were the norm. And yet that just didn’t matter - it was just so fun to watch over and over again with a big silly smile on your face. Saturday mornings and holidays especially so. 😃

Haha, yes indeed!

That’s for sure. The thing I remember most about Looney Tunes was Space Jam and playing a PS1 demo disc I got in the mail that came with it as one of the sample games. I also got a DVD with classic cartoons from my grandparents that included it, Tom and Jerry, 40’s Superman, and more when I got a bit older. Saturday morning cartoons though were always such a great way to unwind after a long week at school. WB Kids had the best ones but I did enjoy the other kid blocks on Saturday mornings. During the week I’d mostly watch Arthur on PBS and then get down to homework. I vaguely remember though catching Batman: The Animated Series sometimes when I was really little as I’d sneak in bits of The Simpsons afterwards until one day when Sideshow Bob scared me. Who knew years later I’d really like Kelsey Grammar in Frasier and Cheers? Haha

I’ve recently been getting back into Looney Tunes from time to time. It’s a good bit of escapism. I also got a Bugs Bunny graphic tee. You’re never too old to have fun and forget your innocence.
