^Tune in and find out! It's an acquired taste. I dont hate it, but you could chalk that up to both nostalgia goggles and my being more a casual gamer.
There weren't a whole lot of games that let you run around with a lightsabre hacking things up back in 1999, and back then SW games actually still had a decent reputation, so I played it and really enjoyed the parts where you play as Obi-Wan or Qui-gon. Crappy game, but somehow kind of addictive. Ugh, the puzzle stuff and platform jumping was unforgivable though.
Episode I: Racer came out around the same time and I bought it just a few months after it came out for about $10 dollars or so, which at the time was a steal for almost any N64 game. Racer was actually a pretty decent game, me and a friend of mine dropped countless hours on that thing.
Kind of crazy to think about what all has happened in the world of video gaming since then. No Call of Duty, no Halo, PC people were getting to experience the wonder that was Half-Life, Zelda was still cool, GTA was a top down...
