I’ve never seen it because most everyone says it’s garbage.

I like it more than the prequels. Anakin is actually likeable.

In the movie?

Yes. He’s got the dark edge, but he’s not super midichlorian powered emo teen.

The OP’s avatar very closely resembles one of another member on the forum — you may need to refresh your caches. Is this allowed?

There’s been plenty of duplication over the years.

Alright, time to end the debate once and for all…apparently if you don’t find this video funny then you’re not a Star Wars fan 😉 😉

Aside from that, I had to repost this particular joke XD

I’ve edited the formatting of the OP’s post so it can be read a lot easier than before.

(the indents at the start of each paragraph were causing the scrolling / almost unreadable issue)

Sorry I didn’t notice the issue because I am on mobile

Red Letter Media posted a video on Youtube where they were basically mocking other people who review Star Wars online by the way they were acting, and I thumbed it down because I thought it was kind of obnoxious to mock Star Fans even if they can be over the top, but I thought about it later it it was actually a pretty spot on parody. Christopher Nolan fans probably have the highest ratio of of annoying fans to not annoying fans of any fanbase, but Star Wars has to be up there.

You’re talking about The Nerd Crew? I thought those were hilarious; and I don’t think they were meant to mock Star Wars fans particularly, just a very specific type of “[pop/nerd]-culture commentators.” Also, if you changed your mind, you better have gone back and un-disliked it 😉

Star Wars attracts people of all different ages, races, backgrounds, orientations, and creeds. Such a large group of differently minded people are bound to disagree about a multitude of things.

Now that we have the internet, we can not only find other fans from far and abroad, we can argue with them about all sorts of things.

The worst aspect I’ve seen though is the internet troll that just wants to post negative articles and videos to get clicks. Doesn’t matter if it’s true or even logical. The click is all the want, so the more sensational the better.

I think for the most part though, the fandom is very much intact and new generations are being brought in to continue on. This Star Wars train isn’t slowing down anytime soon, that’s for sure.

As bad as Star Wars fans are, they are not Harry Potter fans. Thank god for small favors.

It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher

Or emo music fans. Anytime I listen to some My Chemical Romance on YouTube I have to deal with the terrible fan base in the comments

Not enough people read the EU.

I think perhaps the idea here is “what’s something that’s good that has bad fans.” There are plenty of terrible things that have far worse fans than Star Wars.
